(P-B108) Leveraging Partnerships and Data Visualization to Support Surveillance of Maternal and Child Health Indicators in Maine

In 2020, epidemiologists for the state of Maine began monitoring the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and associated changes in policies and practice on birth outcomes and pregnancy-related experiences. A Tableau data dashboard was created for surveillance of outcomes such as prematurity, low birth weight, and receipt of prenatal care. Since the inception of the dashboard, more focus and funding have been put towards improving perinatal systems of care, and the dashboard has morphed into a collaborative project that incorporates the needs of MCH partners and stakeholders.
