Lori attended the University of Washington in Seattle to complete both her BS and MPH degrees. Her Master of Public Health Concentration included a specific focus on Maternal & Child Health Services. After graduation, she went on to a career as a program director with the March of Dimes, spanning nearly 25 years of work in collaborative efforts to help people have a healthier life course, with healthier babies, better birth outcomes, and safer pregnancies and deliveries. Lori was one of the original founders of the Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative (FPQC), and stayed engaged with the collaborative’s work throughout the past few years and initiatives.
Lori’s experience prior to joining FPQC included grant administration, grant reporting, writing and reviewing funding proposals for state and federal projects as well as private foundations, developing collaborative partnerships to support innovative new program models to improve maternal and infant health.
