Emily Gerety is the Project Coordinator for Maine’s Pregnancy Risk Assessment and Monitoring System (PRAMS). Emily earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Smith College in 2013 and worked as a clinical social worker for five years before transitioning to work in State Government. It was in working as a clinical social worker and seeing firsthand the systemic barriers and inequities that impact health and wellbeing that Emily became inspired to pursue work that can have a systems level impact.
