Westat
Dr. Erika Lichter is a Principal Research Associate at Westat with more than 25 years of experience in the areas of maternal and child health, injury and suicide, and applied epidemiology. At Westat she is the Project Director for the the Maternal and Child Health Bureau's Collaborative Health Equity Measurement Project. Prior to Westat, she was an Associate Research Professor in Public Health at the University of Southern Maine's Muskie School of Public Service. In this role, she served as the lead epidemiologist for maternal and child health and injury prevention for the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention and led multiple evaluation projects for the State of Maine, including Maine's Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting evaluation. She has expertise in data translation, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, program evaluation, health equity, and applied epidemiology.
