Sherry is a Senior Program Officer for the CDC Foundation's Noninfectious Disease Programs Department. She leads a diverse portfolio of projects focused maternal mortality, perinatal health, and maternal and infant health programs. Sherry is an experienced public health professional with experience working as the Deputy Administrator/Project Officer for the Memphis Ryan White Program and the Health Disparities Initiative at Shelby County Health Department in Tennessee. Prior to that, she served as manager of the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program as well as the Infant Mortality Reduction Initiative Coordinator at Shelby County Health Department. Sherry also served over 20 years of active military service and retired with the US Air Force. She holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science degree.
